Auto Reply is a plug-in for EIMS 2.x and later. It allows you to specify a set of users for whom a one time auto-reply message should be sent. The plug-in keeps a list of all email addresses that the message is sent to, and will only send the message once to any one address. This avoids the mail loops that can occur using the auto-reply support built into EIMS, and is easier to administer than other external solutions.

If you are running OS 9, you can download a CGI and web page that will allow users to enable/disable their own auto replies. You can download the archive here. Currently OS 9 Web Sharing, WebSTAR 4.x and MacHTTP 2.6 are supported.

Auto Reply is trialware. Until the plug-in is registered, it will only support 2 email addresses and will include a message in all replies. To register the plug-in, which is $50, connect to our secure order site.
